ELEMENTARY HOLIDAY CONCERT
The Elementary Holiday Concert took place on December 20th! Thank you to the many family and community members who came to support our students! It has been a number of years since the last holiday concert was held due to the COVID pandemic and changes within the music program. It was wonderful to see students showcase their skills.
Thank Mr. Slothower and our other staff members who worked hard to bring this this annual tradition back to Potlatch Elementary!

SCHOOL SAFETY "SEE TELL NOW"
The safety of our students is our top priority. Potlatch School District recently joined “See Tell Now.” “See Tell Now” is an anonymous reporting tool sponsored by the Office of School Safety. A link for “See Tell Now” has been added to our district website. This system emphasizes the importance of acting now and sharing items of concern with someone. Concerns may be submitted anonymously.
According to the Office of School Safety Website, “The See, Tell, Now Student Threat Reporting System (commonly referred to as a Tipline) is staffed by trained tip line technicians 24/7 call center who will receive and evaluate all tips. Tips are processed for accuracy and information. Tips that are serious or imminent danger are routed through your assigned dispatch center. Tips are screened for accuracy, information and severity before being sent out to the assigned school point of contacts.”

COFFEE WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT
Once a month, Janet Avery and a Board Member will be available to chat with community members. The purpose of these meetings is for patrons to have an informal setting to talk with the Superintendent and Board. Topics of conversation in the past have revolved around ideas to make our schools safer, what is happening with our CTE (Career Technical or Vocational) classes, and what policies the Board has or may consider in the future. There isn't a formal agenda for these meetings - they are intended to be conversational.
Watch the CIA, our website, and our social media pages to know when Coffee with the Superintendent is happening each month.
LOGGER SPOTLIGHTS
A strong connection with Alumni is important for a district to understand their impact. Alumni stories can also motivate and inspire current students. We want to be able to tell stories of what our Logger Alumni are up to now- no matter how recent or long ago you graduated!
